Director of Information Technology

As the Director of Information Technology at Keel Point, LLC, Scott leads the strategic and operational management of the company’s IT infrastructure and cybersecurity. With over 30 years of experience in the information technology sector, Scott excels in designing and implementing adaptable, business-aligned IT and cyber infrastructures that support organizational growth and change.

Before joining Keel Point in 2016, Scott served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information and Technology Officer at American Bank of Huntsville for 18 years. During his tenure, he spearheaded the bank’s digital transformation, overseeing information security, vendor management, facilities management, IT strategy, compliance, disaster recovery planning, and more.

Scott is an active member of the professional IT community. He serves as Controller and Board Member for the North Alabama Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (NAC-ISSA), Board Member and Treasurer of the Southeastern Cyber Security Foundation (SCSF) and Deputy Director of Workforce Development of Cyber Huntsville, supporting initiatives to enhance the region’s cybersecurity capabilities.

Beyond his professional roles, Scott serves on the technical production team for contemporary worship at Asbury Church Madison, reflecting his commitment to both his community and personal passions.
